Strength comes in many different forms. All forms help shape and benefit an athlete; whether it be mentally, emotionally, or physically. When physical strength comes into play, athletes come in different forms as well. Every athlete’s body is different. Our muscles are toned- but all in a different way. If you look at a figure skater, a swimmer, a baseball player- their body structure is different. Although every muscle group is utilized, there are core groups that are important and parallel their sport. Look at any baseball player, and they have strong arms for throwing, great legs for running. Any swimmer needs incredible upper body strength. And then look at a figure skater, and they have prominent lower body muscles. To propel themselves up in the air, and to land on one foot with balance and grace on skates- we need the muscles in our thighs, glutes, and calves to help us do that. | I often get asked “Why is your butt so big?” Well, I didn’t get (all of it) from my mama. I got it from figure skating. | My training as a figure skater shows by first glance. All athletes are strong in their own form, and their specialized training showcases that. We all have strong, beautiful bodies. They are all different, but in their own way. | Photography by Aaron Geller |

Never thought the time would come so soon for one of my best friends to be getting engaged… But I could never be happier for Jessica and Devon on their wonderful engagement! Congratulations to a couple who truly embodies what a healthy and loving relationship should be about. Love you dearly J, you’ll always be my partner in crime (even if I have to share you officially now) ๐Ÿ˜‰♥๏ธ๐ŸŒป (at Ann Arbor Art Fair )

"The sun shines down, and it’s image reflects in a thousand different pots filled with water. The reflections are many, but they are each reflecting the same sun. Similarly, when we come to know who we truly are, we will see ourselves in all people." ~ Ammachi #ValuableLesson | Namaste | Photography by Aaron Geller @gellerphotography (at Toledo, Ohio)
